- Apr 28All dayBuilding an Effective Emergency Management ProgramThe course will focus on providing an overview of emergency management functions including working with outside agencies and jurisdictions during the planning, response, recovery and mitigation phases. The course will also focus attention on training and certification resources for emergency management Coordinators/Directors, information sharing, the importance of planning and conducting training courses and exercises, managing requests for outside resources as well as an overview of the role of the emergency manager and emergency management staff during an emergency or disaster.
