- Apr 59:00 AMGel Pad Printing: DIY Paper DesignsGel Pad Printing is a perfect medium for new to printmaking artists. Using a variety of acrylic paints (matte, semi-transparent, metallic, etc.), along with textures like cardboard, paper towel roll, die-cut stencils, or natural items like leaves or shells can be combined to create unique, multi-layered prints on different types of paper. The goal of this class is to introduce students to the process, provide guidance in use and care of the tools, color mixing and a little color theory and how to use prints in a practical and creative way. By offering a workshop that provides all supplies, the student can learn hands-on how to do Gel Pad Printing without the investment of buying everything that goes into the process.
