Thursday, February 27, 2025 4:15–5:15 PM
  • Location
    Student Activities Center
  • Description
The event will begin with 30 minutes of dance instruction, tailored to all proficiency levels. The instruction will be conducted primarily in Spanish, with English explanations provided as needed, offering participants an immersive cultural and language-learning experience. This semester?s focus will be on Bachata and Salsa, two vibrant dance styles deeply rooted in Hispanic culture.

The session will be led by Dominic Puello and Nohemy Castellano, talented college-aged instructors from the Auburn community. Dominic, originally from the Dominican Republic, and Nohemy, from Venezuela, bring authentic expertise to the event, having received formal instruction in Bachata and Salsa in their home countries. Their guidance will assist Anthony Espinal, president of El Club de Espa?ol, in delivering clear instructions and providing personalized assistance to all participants throughout the event.

Following the instructional period, the dance floor will open for a 30-minute free-dance session, focused on practicing the Bachata and Salsa moves learned during instruction.
