Photojournalist Kate Medley covers national news in the American South, focused on storytelling and environmental portraiture. In this exhibition, Medley invites viewers to see the people and culinary art of service stations, convenience stores and quick stops located across the South, shining a light on the unexpected community, generosity and creativity found in hidden corners of the U.S.

The Jule invites contemporary artists inspired by nature to research Auburn University's collections to engage with, question and critique John James Audubon’s evolving legacy. Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

Join the Auburn University Bee Center for a hands-on, honey harvesting experience! At AU-Bees: Hive to Bottle Experience, you'll go through the entire process of extracting your own honey straight from the hive. Participants will remove honey frames, uncap the comb, extract, filter, and bottle their own 16 oz jar of honey to take home.This is a unique opportunity to connect with the world of beekeeping and learn firsthand how honey goes from the hive to your bottle. This event will take place on Sunday, May 18th with multiple 1 hour time slots to choose from.Registration is $20 per person and required in advance. Protective equipment will be provided.*This event involves working with live bees. Bee suits and other protective equipment will be provided. *Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. *Any children attending must be able to adhere to safety protocols and be over 66 lbs in case the use of epinephrine is required

The course has been designed to increase overall awareness and understanding concerning the implications of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, as well as other recent major disasters, including Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The course is designed to introduce those taking the course to a wide array of unmet needs and challenges relevant to homeland security and emergency management in a post 9/11, post Katrina world.Offered as part of the Emergency Management certificate program.

Our community music program offers private lessons to students of all ages in the community. Lessons are taught by Auburn faculty and graduate students.
