Our community music program offers private lessons to students of all ages in the community. Lessons are taught by Auburn faculty and graduate students.

Alabama’s agricultural heritage is documented through ten large-scale murals produced in 1939, a time when the state began diversifying its output.

Photojournalist Kate Medley covers national news in the American South, focused on storytelling and environmental portraiture. In this exhibition, Medley invites viewers to see the people and culinary art of service stations, convenience stores and quick stops located across the South, shining a light on the unexpected community, generosity and creativity found in hidden corners of the U.S.

The Jule invites contemporary artists inspired by nature to research Auburn University's collections to engage with, question and critique John James Audubon’s evolving legacy. Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Celebrate the innovative spirit of Auburn faculty members working experimentally in film, painting, photography, new media, sculpture and textile arts. This creative scholarship enriches the academic environment by promoting collaboration, making complex concepts more accessible, generating innovative and engaging ideas, and contributing to cultural and social change. Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

The Gogue Center presents Catapult at the Woltosz Theatre—Sunday, April 6.Created in 2008, Catapult is former Pilobolus member Adam Battelstein’s take on ancient Chinese shadow theatre, using bodies instead of puppets. Nothing is left open for interpretation. Accessible to all, the wordless stories transcend language delivering the message clearly and ably.Catapult was propelled into public awareness during its appearance on "America’s Got Talent" in 2013. The company uses acrobatics, tumbling, balance and contortions to cast shapes behind a giant screen.For its Gogue Center appearance, Catapult will perform a program of works, including “Four Seasons,” “Berlin Wall,” “Milestones,” “Spy,” “Angel Heart,” “Bullies,” “Go West” and “A Traveller’s Tale.”This performance is presented as part of the Gogue Center’s 2024–25 Family Series and is sponsored by Davidson, Davidson, Umbach and Forbus.Our K–12 School Performance Series Show is sponsored by The Lionheart Foundation and Three Sixty {real estate}.Our 2024–25 season is sponsored by Walt & Ginger Woltosz.Family Series performances are offered separately from the full performance season and include four shows tailored to younger audiences.
