Students in the AU Commercial Music program perform a variety of popular and original songs. Join us at 7:45PM in the Goodwin Recital Hall (GH125). Doors open 15 minutes prior to the performance. Seating is limited! Tickets are available in advance online. Will call is not available.

The event will begin with 30 minutes of instruction suitable for all levels of proficiency. The instruction will be provided in both Spanish and English, with a focus on Spanish to help students improve their language and cultural understanding. Our main instructor is an Auburn community member (not auburn university affiliated) who will lead the instruction, along with other skilled students. Following the instruction period, the dance floor will be open for free dancing, allowing students to try out various Spanish dance styles such as salsa, bachata, cumbia, or merengue, depending on the music. This free-dance period is intended to provide an opportunity for students to practice their Spanish language skills and communicate with other students in Spanish, as well as to experience a wider range of Spanish immersion similar to that experienced abroad.

The AU Funk & Soul Ensemble is a repertory ensemble focusing on Funk and Soul standards from the mid 1960s through the early 1980s. The group studies and performs well-known pieces by the era's greats, including James Brown, Sly & the Family Stone, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and others.Join us at 7:30PM in the Goodwin Rehearsal Hall (GH134). Creative Cubs is a series for children ages 3-5 and their parents/guardians. Each session includes a guided tour of the museum's exhibitions, a related story time, and a hands-on art activity. Free and open to the public, but spaces are limited, and pre-registration is required.
