- DescriptionInvention Convention is a K-12 invention education program that activates STEM + Invention + Entrepreneurship (STEMIE). Students work through the invention process to learn and develop problem identifying, solving, and creativity skills for life, inspiring young people to become innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs. This hands-on, real-world, project-based learning program culminates in an invention fair that gives students the opportunity to show off their invention, receive feedback from judges involved in the field, and meet other inventors/students. 5th-8th grade students from Auburn and Oxford will present their invention and poster boards to a group of judges. Following judging, there will be an awards ceremony. The top inventions will move on to U.S National Invention Convention at the Henry Ford in Dearborn, MI.
