We organize a bi-annual PR Day. During this event we bring on campus alumni of Auburn's PR program who talk to students about the latest trends in the PR industry and share best practices in order to better prepare them to enter the industry. This year the speakers will talk to the Oaks Agency executive team/project leaders on how to communicate, troubleshoot issues, manage people, etc. The Oaks Agency is Auburn's student-run agency that does PR work for real clients.

The Jule invites contemporary artists inspired by nature to research Auburn University's collections to engage with, question and critique John James Audubon’s evolving legacy. Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Celebrate the innovative spirit of Auburn faculty members working experimentally in film, painting, photography, new media, sculpture and textile arts. This creative scholarship enriches the academic environment by promoting collaboration, making complex concepts more accessible, generating innovative and engaging ideas, and contributing to cultural and social change. Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

ISO social hours are held each Friday to encourage unity among our domestic and international students.

On February 12, the Office of International Programs will host Aferdita Krasniqi, outreach and recruitment specialist for the Fulbright Scholars Program, for a series of information sessions about faculty and student opportunities through the U.S. Fulbright Program. Presentations will take place in the Azalea Room at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center, with the faculty session beginning and 11 a.m. and the student session at 1:30 p.m. Sessions are free and open to all.The Fulbright Program, the United States government’s flagship program of international educational and cultural exchange, offers passionate and accomplished students and scholars in more than 160 countries the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to mutual understanding.Fulbright Scholars—college and university faculty, administrators, and researchers, as well as artists and professionals—build their skills and connections, gain valuable international insights, and return home to share their experiences with their students and colleagues. Scholars come from and go to all institution types and geographic regions across the United States and around the world. The Fulbright Scholar Program awards more than 1,700 fellowships each year, enabling 800 U.S. scholars to go abroad and 900 visiting scholars to come to the United States.The Fulbright U.S. Students Program offers unparalleled opportunities in all academic disciplines for graduating college seniors, graduate students and early-career professionals from all backgrounds. Program participants pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad. During their grants, Fulbrighters meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences. Our community music program offers private lessons to students of all ages in the community. Lessons are taught by Auburn faculty and graduate students.
