- Thu 34:15 PMBaile LatinoThe event will begin with 30 minutes of dance instruction, tailored to all proficiency levels. The instruction will be conducted primarily in Spanish, with English explanations provided as needed, offering participants an immersive cultural and language-learning experience. This semester?s focus will be on Bachata and Salsa, two vibrant dance styles deeply rooted in Hispanic culture.The session will be led by Dominic Puello and Nohemy Castellano, talented college-aged instructors from the Auburn community. Dominic, originally from the Dominican Republic, and Nohemy, from Venezuela, bring authentic expertise to the event, having received formal instruction in Bachata and Salsa in their home countries. Their guidance will assist Anthony Espinal, president of El Club de Espa?ol, in delivering clear instructions and providing personalized assistance to all participants throughout the event.Following the instructional period, the dance floor will open for a 30-minute free-dance session, focused on practicing the Bachata and Salsa moves learned during instruction.
- Thu 36:45 PMThursday Night Bible StudyThis event will begin with an opening prayer. This will be followed by a 30-45 minute Bible study with discussion times. The event will be ended with a time of prayer requests and a closing prayer. Discussion and fellowship often follows the prayer as well.

- Fri 47:00 PMDorrance Dance: "The Center Will Not Hold" (WORLD PREMIERE!)The Gogue Center presents the world premiere of Dorrance Dance's "The Center Will Not Hold" at the Woltosz Theatre—Friday, April 4.Born from “a little room,” "The Center Will Not Hold" is a short duet created and performed by Ephrat Asherie and Michelle Dorrance in December 2022. The now expanded and reimagined work features 11 singular performers deeply rooted in one or many street, club and vernacular dances: house, breaking, hip hop, tap dance, Chicago Footwork, Detroit Jit, Litefeet, Memphis Jookin and body percussion"The Center Will Not Hold" features original music composed by Donovan Dorrance with live percussion by world class drummer and percussionist, John Angeles. On Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 9am-1pm the CVM will host its 2nd annual VetFest. Students, faculty and staff will provide information and exhibits on veterinary medicine and biomedical science. Featured activities will include a canine parade of breeds, painted horse, teddy bear surgery, the Auburn Raptor Center, student club exhibits and much more. This event is free and open to the public.

- Sun 63:00 PMCatapultThe Gogue Center presents Catapult at the Woltosz Theatre—Sunday, April 6.Created in 2008, Catapult is former Pilobolus member Adam Battelstein’s take on ancient Chinese shadow theatre, using bodies instead of puppets. Nothing is left open for interpretation. Accessible to all, the wordless stories transcend language delivering the message clearly and ably.Catapult was propelled into public awareness during its appearance on "America’s Got Talent" in 2013. The company uses acrobatics, tumbling, balance and contortions to cast shapes behind a giant screen.For its Gogue Center appearance, Catapult will perform a program of works, including “Four Seasons,” “Berlin Wall,” “Milestones,” “Spy,” “Angel Heart,” “Bullies,” “Go West” and “A Traveller’s Tale.”This performance is presented as part of the Gogue Center’s 2024–25 Family Series and is sponsored by Davidson, Davidson, Umbach and Forbus.Our K–12 School Performance Series Show is sponsored by The Lionheart Foundation and Three Sixty {real estate}.Our 2024–25 season is sponsored by Walt & Ginger Woltosz.Family Series performances are offered separately from the full performance season and include four shows tailored to younger audiences. The instruction will be conducted primarily in Spanish, with English explanations provided as needed, offering participants an immersive cultural and language-learning experience. This semester?s focus will be on Bachata and Salsa, two vibrant dance styles deeply rooted in Hispanic culture.The session will be led by Dominic Puello and Nohemy Castellano, talented college-aged instructors from the Auburn community. Dominic, originally from the Dominican Republic, and Nohemy, from Venezuela, bring authentic expertise to the event, having received formal instruction in Bachata and Salsa in their home countries. Their guidance will assist Anthony Espinal, president of El Club de Espa?ol, in delivering clear instructions and providing personalized assistance to all participants throughout the event.Following the instructional period, the dance floor will open for a 30-minute free-dance session, focused on practicing the Bachata and Salsa moves learned during instruction.

The meetings, held on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. CST, will outline the program's benefits, including full tuition coverage, living expenses and a $20,000 annual bonus for four years, with a total financial support package of more than $150,000.The DREAM-Math program, a partnership between Auburn University, Tuskegee University, Alabama State University and surrounding school districts, aims to develop, recruit and empower Alabama mathematics teachers. Funded by the National Science Foundation's Noyce Scholarship Program, this initiative seeks STEM degree holders who meet program qualifications to earn a Master of Education in Math Education, leading to teacher certification.Interested individuals can join an informational online meeting and visit the DREAM-Math website for more information. Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.
