Alabama’s agricultural heritage is documented through ten large-scale murals produced in 1939, a time when the state began diversifying its output.

Photojournalist Kate Medley covers national news in the American South, focused on storytelling and environmental portraiture. In this exhibition, Medley invites viewers to see the people and culinary art of service stations, convenience stores and quick stops located across the South, shining a light on the unexpected community, generosity and creativity found in hidden corners of the U.S.

This event is being held in association to the National Marrow Donor Program. We will be providing informational brochures along with prepackaged envelopes which contain clean mouth swabs for individuals to put themselves on the donor watchlist in order to raise awareness to the program. We will have two representatives from the program with us at the event, Melinda Garrington and Nina Rollins.The supplies we will be bringing will also include a tablecloth, giveaways such as pens and stickers. We will also be providing food items such as donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate (held in dispenser) in which the participants will be able to get these items on their own accord.

The Jule invites contemporary artists inspired by nature to research Auburn University's collections to engage with, question and critique John James Audubon’s evolving legacy. Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Celebrate the innovative spirit of Auburn faculty members working experimentally in film, painting, photography, new media, sculpture and textile arts. This creative scholarship enriches the academic environment by promoting collaboration, making complex concepts more accessible, generating innovative and engaging ideas, and contributing to cultural and social change. Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

This event will begin with an opening prayer. This will be followed by a 30-45 minute Bible study with discussion times. The event will be ended with a time of prayer requests and a closing prayer. Discussion and fellowship often follows the prayer as well.
