- Mar 2910:00 AMLive. Laugh. Run. 5KThe Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi will be hosting its annual Sarah Anderson Live.Laugh.Run. 5K on March 29, 2025. Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands across the country.In November of 2009, Sarah Anderson lost her life in a tragic car accident. Sarah was a sophomore studying to go to veterinarian school at Auburn University, a piccolo player in the Auburn University Marching Band (AUMB), and a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi.In honor of her memory, the Pi chapter will be using all proceeds to fund the Sarah Anderson Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship that is granted to a deserving band member at the end of each fall semester. The recipient will be someone who best exhibits the qualities of our fraternity and who shares the same positive attitude and love for life that Sarah Anderson had.Registration is $30 for the general public and $25 for ALL current students and AUMB alumni. Registration will increase by $5 starting March 1, but you must register by February 28 to be guaranteed a shirt. Refreshments will be given out after the race. Prizes will be given by age and gender categories.Registration will open at 9:15am with group stretches being led at 10am. The race will begin at 10:30am.

Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.
