The Auburn Indian Music Ensemble (AIME) is comprised of Auburn University students and members of the local community, and features traditional Indian acoustic instruments like Sitar, Harmonium, Tanpura and Tabla - the Indian drums. The ensemble gets creative with the improvised aspects of Indian music, learning compositions in diverse genres ranging from classical to contemporary and folk music.

The course will focus on providing an overview of emergency management functions including working with outside agencies and jurisdictions during the planning, response, recovery and mitigation phases. The course will also focus attention on training and certification resources for emergency management Coordinators/Directors, information sharing, the importance of planning and conducting training courses and exercises, managing requests for outside resources as well as an overview of the role of the emergency manager and emergency management staff during an emergency or disaster.

This four-week online intensive course is tailored for emergency management professionals and grant managers in county, tribal, and state entities. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the Public Assistance (PA) grant process, from identifying funding opportunities and understanding eligibility requirements to developing competitive grant applications and managing awarded funds in compliance with federal regulations. By the end of the course, participants will have created a complete PA grant application and conducted mock submissions and compliance audits to prepare for real-world scenarios.Offered as part of the Emergency Management certificate program.

Our community music program offers private lessons to students of all ages in the community. Lessons are taught by Auburn faculty and graduate students.

All Auburn students are welcome to watch as published writers and artists read or show their work on stage, going in order from front to back cover of our magazine. There will be free pastries and coffee for guests to take as well.
