Monday, November 11, 2024 7:00–8:00 PM
- DescriptionAuburn University's DREAM-Math master's program is hosting online information meetings to introduce STEM professionals to its fully funded teaching opportunities. The meetings, held on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. CST, will outline the program's benefits, including full tuition coverage, living expenses and a $20,000 annual bonus for four years, with a total financial support package of more than $150,000.
The DREAM-Math program, a partnership between Auburn University, Tuskegee University, Alabama State University and surrounding school districts, aims to develop, recruit and empower Alabama mathematics teachers. Funded by the National Science Foundation's Noyce Scholarship Program, this initiative seeks STEM degree holders who meet program qualifications to earn a Master of Education in Math Education, leading to teacher certification.
Interested individuals can join an informational online meeting and visit the DREAM-Math website for more information. The Department of Curriculum and Teaching and Department of Mathematics and Statistics encourage those considering a teaching career to attend and learn more about this rewarding opportunity. The next cohort begins in mid-May 2025, and the application window is now open. - Websitehttps://calendar.auburn.edu/event/dream-math-online-informational-meeting
