Martin Farm cotton has been sourced by major brands including The North Face, Wrangler and Victoria's Secret, and she has served on numerous regional and national boards. - Apr 225:00 PMAuburn AI SummitThe Auburn Artificial Intelligence Initiative, a student-led organization at Auburn University, is set to host the Auburn AI Summit on Tuesday, April 22, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The business casual event will offer attendees a complimentary dinner and an evening of thought-provoking discussions on the future of AI.Hosted in collaboration with the Biggio Center and AI@AU, the summit will feature AI experts and industry leaders from Apple, Synovus, and Amazon Web Services. - Apr 226:00 PMBeginners PotteryIn this course, you will be learning the basic skills needed to throw on the wheel. This includes clay preparation, centering the clay, and pulling up cylindrical shapes that you will learn to add on to create your unique and functional pieces. You will be working at your own wheel and be provided studio space and resources to help your creativity and skills flourish throughout the course. Clay and firing costs are included in the course fee. Students should bring a one-gallon bucket and a packet of clay tools to the first class meeting (tools may be purchased at most bookstores in Auburn for about $15).
