Photojournalist Kate Medley covers national news in the American South, focused on storytelling and environmental portraiture. In this exhibition, Medley invites viewers to see the people and culinary art of service stations, convenience stores and quick stops located across the South, shining a light on the unexpected community, generosity and creativity found in hidden corners of the U.S.

The Jule invites contemporary artists inspired by nature to research Auburn University's collections to engage with, question and critique John James Audubon’s evolving legacy. Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Celebrate the innovative spirit of Auburn faculty members working experimentally in film, painting, photography, new media, sculpture and textile arts. This creative scholarship enriches the academic environment by promoting collaboration, making complex concepts more accessible, generating innovative and engaging ideas, and contributing to cultural and social change. Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

Box lunches will be available for HCOB students and faculty to pick up between 11am-1pm. Students and faculty will have the opportunity to mix and mingle during this time.

Join the College of Agriculture on Tuesday, April 22, for the annual Women in Agriculture Spring Leadership Luncheon, an event designed to bring together students, alumni, faculty, staff and professionals.The Women in Agriculture program seeks to connect people in our industry, empower them through professional networking, and encourage them to lead and mentor up-and-coming young agricultural leaders. This year, the Women in Agriculture luncheon will bring a wealth of knowledge from Larkin Martin, head of Martin Farm in Courtland, Alabama.A seventh-generation farmer, Larkin is an advocate and practitioner of regenerative farming techniques for the purpose of soil health and sustainability as well as technological applications from automation to genetics. Martin Farm cotton has been sourced by major brands including The North Face, Wrangler and Victoria's Secret, and she has served on numerous regional and national boards.
