Celebrate the innovative spirit of Auburn faculty members working experimentally in film, painting, photography, new media, sculpture and textile arts. This creative scholarship enriches the academic environment by promoting collaboration, making complex concepts more accessible, generating innovative and engaging ideas, and contributing to cultural and social change. Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

Multiple displays of art across the green space. We will be building displays and having multiple stands. Organizations tabling will set up across the green space as well. Our DJ's and bands/individual performers will set up according to a schedule we will make. If we could get more information about electricity on the green space and how to get a sound permit that would be great, thank you!

The event will begin with 30 minutes of dance instruction, tailored to all proficiency levels. The instruction will be conducted primarily in Spanish, with English explanations provided as needed, offering participants an immersive cultural and language-learning experience. This semester?s focus will be on Bachata and Salsa, two vibrant dance styles deeply rooted in Hispanic culture.The session will be led by Dominic Puello and Nohemy Castellano, talented college-aged instructors from the Auburn community. Dominic, originally from the Dominican Republic, and Nohemy, from Venezuela, bring authentic expertise to the event, having received formal instruction in Bachata and Salsa in their home countries. Their guidance will assist Anthony Espinal, president of El Club de Espa?ol, in delivering clear instructions and providing personalized assistance to all participants throughout the event.Following the instructional period, the dance floor will open for a 30-minute free-dance session, focused on practicing the Bachata and Salsa moves learned during instruction.

Join The Jule for an artist talk and discussion with current Radical Naturalism artist, Rodell Warner. Warner’s exhibition investigates Audubon’s legacy through objects from Auburn University’s art collection, harnessing contemporary technology. Working primarily in new media and photography, Warner’s work animates lost histories to “rethink the past and index emancipatory futures.”
