The Alabama Science and Engineering Fair (ASEF) will be held at Auburn University in April 2025 and will host more than 200 middle and high school fair winners from our 4 regional fairs held across the state. Students have the chance to compete for more than 150 awards totaling over $15,000. Students will present their posters showcasing their independent research projects in the morning from 9am - 12pm. Judges will deliberate in the afternoon and select category and special award winners. A STEM Expo and as well as STEM Workshops will also be hosted in the afternoon from 1:30-3:30pm while the judges scores are being tallied. The awards ceremony will be around 4:15pm. Three exceptional high school students in the Senior Division from ASEF will advance to the Regeneron ISEF from May 10-16, 2025 in Columbus, OH and will compete against the top 1500 students in the world for nearly $9 million in prizes and scholarships. Additionally, the top 10% of Junior Division winners from grades 6-8 will advance and compete in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge.

Plant sale in the parking lot, customers walk through the lot looking for any buying plants to support the club. Club members will be throughout the lot helping customers.

Students work through the invention process to learn and develop problem identifying, solving, and creativity skills for life, inspiring young people to become innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs. This hands-on, real-world, project-based learning program culminates in an invention fair that gives students the opportunity to show off their invention, receive feedback from judges involved in the field, and meet other inventors/students. 5th-8th grade students from Auburn and Oxford will present their invention and poster boards to a group of judges. Following judging, there will be an awards ceremony. The top inventions will move on to U.S National Invention Convention at the Henry Ford in Dearborn, MI.

At Vet Fest 2025, Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine will be hosting demonstrations and events generated and executed by its faculty, staff, and students emphasing 'Veterinary Medicine in Art and Creation'. Vet Fest will be on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 9 am - 1 pm. This event is open to the community. The Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital and the JT Vaughan Large Animal Teaching Hospital will be closed for public viewing. Personal pets (on or off leash) are not allowed at the event.

Gel Pad Printing is a perfect medium for new to printmaking artists. Using a variety of acrylic paints (matte, semi-transparent, metallic, etc.), along with textures like cardboard, paper towel roll, die-cut stencils, or natural items like leaves or shells can be combined to create unique, multi-layered prints on different types of paper. The goal of this class is to introduce students to the process, provide guidance in use and care of the tools, color mixing and a little color theory and how to use prints in a practical and creative way. By offering a workshop that provides all supplies, the student can learn hands-on how to do Gel Pad Printing without the investment of buying everything that goes into the process.
