- Sep 255:00 PMVocation: A Reading with Ken AutreyAuthor Ken Autrey will read from his latest book of poetry, Vocation. A reception and book signing will follow. Vocation is a poetry collection that examines the many ways of viewing the work of a life and all that contributes to it. Ken Autrey lives in Auburn, Alabama, where he helps coordinate the Third Thursday Poetry Series. He is an Emeritus Professor of English at Francis Marion University in South Carolina, where he taught poetry, creative nonfiction, and advanced composition. Autrey is the author of four poetry chapbooks and the full-length collection, Circulation.

In these micro-credential courses, students will learn about the history and lore of the world?s classic wine regions with Auburn?s own Master Sommelier, Thomas Price, and will be able to improve their recognition of European and New World wine styles and grape varieties. Attendees will arrive and be arranged in the open-air grassy area to watch and listen to the callouts, while the SGA team will be positioned on the steps to be able to project to the audience.
