- Nov 67:30 PMFaculty Artist Recital: Bill Schaffer, horn w/ Minjung Seo, pianoDr. Bil Schaffer holds degrees from Indiana University (BME), Illinois State University (MM), and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (DMA). His career as a performer and teacher spans more than 4 decades. He has performed with numerous orchestras as well as maintaining an active career as both a soloist and chamber musician. He has taught at every level in both the public schools and Universities and has been the horn studio teacher at Auburn for 25 years.Dr. Minjung Seo is a recipient of the Samuel Sanders Collaborative Pianists Award, and has participated as a pianist in multiple concert series at Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Aspen Music Center as well as internationally in Korea , Canada, and China. Seo is currently a lecturer in accompanying at Auburn University and previously served as a piano faculty at Western Illinois University, Bennett College, and NC School of the Arts.Join us at 7:30PM in the Goodwin Recital Hall (GH125). Doors open 15 minutes prior to the performance.Tickets are available in advance online. Will call is not available.
