Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

Experience a fun and traditional Korean childhood game at the Auburn University Korea Center–King Sejong Institute’s upcoming culture class on gongi! Featured in Squid Game, gongi is a popular game similar to jacks, where players toss and catch small stones in skillful patterns to test their dexterity and coordination. This interactive session is open to Auburn University students and community members, offering a unique opportunity to learn about Korean culture while enjoying a bit of friendly competition. Our community music program offers private lessons to students of all ages in the community. Lessons are taught by Auburn faculty and graduate students.

The participants will arrive, sign in and pick up agenda and introduced to staff and the LEAD program. The participants will be involved with hands on exercises. Followed by lunch at the Edge. Then they will be guided on a campus/college tour.
