Auburn professor, Dr. David Martin, will guide you through approachable techniques for tasting wines while dispelling common myths. You will leave with a better understanding of your likes and dislikes and how to confidently utilize that knowledge the next time you order or shop for a bottle to enjoy. Light snacks will be served. We will have one speaker coming in. The first hour and 15 minutes will be questions decided on by the board of women in law, after that we will open up discussion to anyone in the room. The speaker event will end after 2 hours.

We will give opportunities for the new students to showcase their talent in singing or dancing, or any other form of art. Then we will involve everyone in a group activity to play a game, and also to dance together. In the end, we will serve food to all the students.

The Auburn University Homecoming Parade will take place on September 12, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting at Thach Concourse and ending on Samford Lawn. The Parade will be followed by a pep rally on Samford Lawn. At this event, students and families will be able to gather and watch a variety of floats and performers walk in a parade to celebrate Homecoming. The pep rally to follow will include a variety of performers from the University and the community, as well as many campus celebrities.Also, Eagle Eye TV and WTVM will be on site, simulcasting the parade on their channels.

On Friday, Sept. 12, the entire Auburn Family is invited to downtown Auburn for a parade and pep rally to kick off Homecoming weekend. The parade begins at 6 p.m., completing a loop around downtown Auburn before concluding with a pep rally around on Samford Lawn.The parade will begin at the corner of Thach Ave. and S. College Street, turn left on S. Gay St., left on Tichenor Ave., then left on S. College Street.Following the parade and pep rally, country band Nashville Nation will entertain into the evening.Please note that downtown street parking along the parade route will be closed beginning at 3 p.m. and road closures will start at 4 p.m. on Friday.
