The Jule invites contemporary artists inspired by nature to research Auburn University's collections to engage with, question and critique John James Audubon’s evolving legacy. Trinidadian artist Rodell Warner reimagines John James Audubon’s writings and selections from the iconic Birds of America series, animating text and visuals to foster new ways of seeing and experiencing history.Warner's digital animations have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario; Big Medium, Austin, Texas; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, Florida. Rodell works between Port of Spain in Trinidad, Kingston in Jamaica, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Celebrate the innovative spirit of Auburn faculty members working experimentally in film, painting, photography, new media, sculpture and textile arts. This creative scholarship enriches the academic environment by promoting collaboration, making complex concepts more accessible, generating innovative and engaging ideas, and contributing to cultural and social change. Paired with discoveries in other fields, these outcomes are essential to enhancing Auburn’s stature as a pre-eminent institution with Carnegie R1 status.Presented in collaboration with Showcase 2025, a university-wide initiative to highlight creative scholarship, align its practice with university goals and promote collaboration. Showcase 2025 is organized by Chase Bringarder, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance; Robert Finkel, Program Chair and Associate Professor of Graphic Design; and Anna Ruth Gatlin, Assistant Professor of Interior Design in Consumer and Design Sciences, in concert with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

Spring Family Fling, which will take place in conjunction with A-Day on April 12. By aligning with A-Day, the event aims to create an opportunity for parents and families to form impactful connections with Parent & Family Programs, the Auburn University Parent & Family Association Board of Directors, and the Auburn community.Spring Family Fling will feature a meal at Wellness Kitchen, beginning at approximately 10 a.m. The event will be ticketed and will conclude shortly before the Spring Football Game begins. This will allow families to enjoy the rest of the day?s festivities.We anticipate having Aubie attend, having a musician, a cash bar, and yard games and more. We plan to include tours of Plainsman Park and also potentially the Auburn Recreation and Wellness Center.

Self-Care Saturdays is a weekly recurring museum programming initiative that helps attendees explore wellness through art and artistic mediums.

Bring some balance to your life and join local yoga instructor, Lela Anderson, for a morning of yin yoga. Immersed in the art of The Jule’s spring exhibitions, practice slowing down and focusing your attention on the connections between the body and art. Open to all-levels. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats if possible.

This four-week online intensive course is tailored for emergency management professionals and grant managers in county, tribal, and state entities. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the Public Assistance (PA) grant process, from identifying funding opportunities and understanding eligibility requirements to developing competitive grant applications and managing awarded funds in compliance with federal regulations. By the end of the course, participants will have created a complete PA grant application and conducted mock submissions and compliance audits to prepare for real-world scenarios.Offered as part of the Emergency Management certificate program.
