The names of the new Tiger Paws will be called out individually and they will walk up the steps at Cater Hall. We would like to start at 4:00 but are requesting 4:00-6:00 p.m. in case it takes longer for the judges to select the new team. We will take pictures after the names of the 19 girls are called out.

This lab will teach individuals about darting safety and purpose. It will be led by Dr. Passler and Dr Lin.

This is the annual Global Gastronomy event that showcases the students from the HOSP Global Gastronomy course and the Special Events course. This is a collaboration between the two groups and they put on an event in which the culinary students will prepare dishes from around the world. Each dish is paired with a wine. Guests visit multiple stations to learn about each of the countries and sample the food and wine. Tickets are $75 per person.

In this course, you will be learning the basic skills needed to throw on the wheel. This includes clay preparation, centering the clay, and pulling up cylindrical shapes that you will learn to add on to create your unique and functional pieces. You will be working at your own wheel and be provided studio space and resources to help your creativity and skills flourish throughout the course. Clay and firing costs are included in the course fee. Students should bring a one-gallon bucket and a packet of clay tools to the first class meeting (tools may be purchased at most bookstores in Auburn for about $15).
