Clearing Chakras Through Sound is an in-person sound immersion designed to relieve stress, reduce pain, and strengthen your mind-body connection. Through your body?s natural energy centers, you will be guided into a 40-minute relaxation and meditation practice using acoustic sound therapy instruments such as quartz crystal bowls, chimes, gong, and drum.PLEASE NOTE: This is not recommended for those in their first trimester of pregnancy, those who currently have thrombosis, Parkinson?s, hypotension, DBS device, epileptic seizures, severe depression/anxiety or have sensory sensitivity. The meetings, held on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. CST, will outline the program's benefits, including full tuition coverage, living expenses and a $20,000 annual bonus for four years, with a total financial support package of more than $150,000.The DREAM-Math program, a partnership between Auburn University, Tuskegee University, Alabama State University and surrounding school districts, aims to develop, recruit and empower Alabama mathematics teachers. Funded by the National Science Foundation's Noyce Scholarship Program, this initiative seeks STEM degree holders who meet program qualifications to earn a Master of Education in Math Education, leading to teacher certification.Interested individuals can join an informational online meeting and visit the DREAM-Math website for more information. The Department of Curriculum and Teaching and Department of Mathematics and Statistics encourage those considering a teaching career to attend and learn more about this rewarding opportunity.
