Auburn University's DREAM-Math master's program is hosting online information meetings to introduce STEM professionals to its fully funded teaching opportunities. The meetings, held on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. CST, will outline the program's benefits, including full tuition coverage, living expenses and a $20,000 annual bonus for four years, with a total financial support package of more than $150,000.The DREAM-Math program, a partnership between Auburn University, Tuskegee University, Alabama State University and surrounding school districts, aims to develop, recruit and empower Alabama mathematics teachers. Funded by the National Science Foundation's Noyce Scholarship Program, this initiative seeks STEM degree holders who meet program qualifications to earn a Master of Education in Math Education, leading to teacher certification.Interested individuals can join an informational online meeting and visit the DREAM-Math website for more information. The Gogue Center presents the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's "Spanish Journey" at the Woltosz Theatre—Thursday, February 13.Spend a musical evening in Spain—a country of enchanting colors, rhythms and textures—in a program imaginatively created by violinist Kristin Lee. The distinctive Spanish style is beautifully expressed in piano trios of Falla and Turina, while guitar, an instrument deeply associated with Spain, is played by Grammy Award winner Jason Vieaux. Complementing the program are vocal works by Sarasate, Rodrigo and Obradors, the texts of which beautifully express the flair and passion of the Spanish language.The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) is one of 11 constituents of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the largest performing arts complex in the world.
